Driven by their powerful motto, "Our greatest revenge will be to be happy", they empower lives through social justice, advocacy, and community care.
Tiresias Dollhouse A.C. — Transmuting Pain into Joy and Dignity.
Tiresias Dollhouse A.C. is a non-governmental organization with a strong national presence and impact. Its main mission is to safeguard the human rights of the most vulnerable sectors of society, focusing much of its efforts on the trans community, LGBTQ+ people, sex workers, people experiencing homelessness, and people living with HIV.
As seen in its emblem, the organization lives by a powerful philosophy: "Our greatest revenge will be to be happy." This phrase encapsulates its resilience and its commitment not only to defend lives, but to ensure that these lives are lived fully, with respect, and with happiness.
What do they do?
Shelters and Shelters: Safe and dignified spaces that offer shelter, food, and protection to those who need it.
Comprehensive Support: Legal advice, psychological support, medical referrals, and assistance in gender identity processes.
Education and Employment: Social reintegration programs, job training, and public awareness workshops.
Political Advocacy: They actively defend inclusive public policies and fight against discrimination and hate crimes at the national level.
