Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – May 8, 2025 — The beloved Duckathon: Float for a Cause is back and bigger than ever! This lively fundraising celebration returns on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 7:00–10:00 PM at the Pool Club PV by Casa Cupula Gay+ Resort, uniting locals, allies, and visitors in a night of joy, community, and purpose — all to benefit the health and well-being of Puerto Vallarta’s LGBTQ+ community.

Hosted by the Vallarta Gay+ Community Center (VG+CC), this spirited evening will feature live music, dazzling drag performances, a curated vendor fair of local businesses, complimentary food tastings, festive cocktails, and the signature Duckathon game — a playful twist on the classic rubber duck race. Guests will select floating rubber ducks from the pool, each marked with a number on the bottom. That number corresponds to an amazing prize donated by our generous community sponsors. Ducks can be purchased for $100 pesos each, giving every participant a chance to win something fabulous while supporting a great cause.
Entry to the event is $400 pesos per person, with a discounted rate of $200 pesos for Mexican citizens with a valid INE card. 100% of the entrance fee goes directly to supporting VG+CC’s vital services.
All funds raised help VG+CC continue its life-changing work — from providing free and low-cost HIV prevention and STI treatment to expanding mental health resources and inclusive educational programs. Since its founding in 2024, the center has empowered thousands across Puerto Vallarta’s LGBTQ+ spectrum.
