From his childhood in Guadalajara, facing ridicule and harassment, to his courageous move to Mexico City in the 1970s, Eduardo lived under the shadow of oppression and repression.
In 1977, his arrival in Puerto Vallarta marked a transcendental change: it was the place where, in his words, he "breathed for the first time". In this talk, Eduardo will tell us how he found a refuge of respect and belonging, and how he has seen the social environment for the homosexual community transform. "Today we can live as we want," says Eduardo, and his story is a testimony of struggle, adaptation and hope for the new LGBT generations.
