Join the 5th. edition of Kukur Tihar or Festival of Lights, a celebration to pay tribute to the dog and its special relationship with humans.
KUKUR TIHAR or FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS is a celebration that pays tribute to the dog and its special relationship with humans. In Nepal, this 5-day celebration pays homage to animals where the dog becomes the protagonist of a universe made to suit him. KUKUR TIHAR is a joyful and colorful ceremony known as "Dog Worship", where people give the dog garlands of flowers and food, in gratitude for the close relationship between the two.

REQUIREMENTS:
With the aim of avoiding accidents, loss of dogs and possible. aggression between dogs and humans, we very strictly invite you to comply with these requirements.
1 ALL dogs must wear a collar (non-punishment) or bib, leash and ID PLATE.
2 Do not take females in heat (it would be most appropriate for all female and male dogs to be sterilized.
3 Do not bring dogs that are aggressive with other dogs or humans.
4 Do not bring cats, because they tend to get stressed and not all dogs live with them.
5 Bring bags for your dog(s) feces and pick them up immediately.
6 We invite you to bring 2 candles and 1 garland necklace to offer to your pet at the ceremony.
