Embark on an unforgettable adventure to the picturesque coastal village of Yelapa and the majestic Majahuitas Beach. Stroll through cobblestone streets filled with local art, admire the famous waterfall (often called "Paradise on Earth"), and relax on golden sands. Have fun snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, or riding the banana boat, and treat yourself to a delicious beach BBQ—toes in the sand—complemented by onboard music and cold drinks. It’s the perfect balance of culture, fun, and tropical relaxation!
Yelapa Waterfall & Majahuitas Beach BBQ
Approximate duration: 7.5 hours.
A guided boat tour of the southern area of Banderas Bay, combining the rich culture of the fishing village of Yelapa with the relaxed, "hippie-chic" atmosphere and crystal-clear waters of Majahuitas.
Includes:
- Scenic boat ride across the bay with music and onboard entertainment.
- Guided walk through the mural-lined streets of Yelapa (visit to the waterfall during the rainy season).
- Delicious BBQ lunch at Majahuitas Beach (ribs, grilled chicken, fresh ceviche, salads, and dessert).
- Beer and flavored waters included while at the beach.
- Full snorkeling gear, paddleboards, kayaks, and a banana boat ride.
Requirements and Essential Information:
- Minimum age: 1 year (child prices apply for ages 4–11; ages 12 and up pay the adult rate).
- Arrival: Please check in at the Vallarta Adventures registration point at least 45 minutes before departure.
- Safety: Life jackets must be worn during all water activities.
- Restrictions: Drone use is strictly prohibited due to federal regulations protecting endemic bird species. For safety reasons, swimming beneath the waterfall may be restricted following heavy rains.
