The Puerto Vallarta Theater Showcase (MTPV) arrives with its first edition to celebrate local performing talent with a series of performances, art and creativity from March 20 to 29, 2026 in different cultural spaces in Puerto Vallarta.
The first edition of the Puerto Vallarta Theater Showcase (MTPV) will bring together artists, companies, and theater lovers to celebrate Puerto Vallarta's performing arts talent during a week dedicated to the performing arts.
Organized by the Puerto Vallarta Performing Arts Creators collective, in collaboration with Plataforma 322 and with the support of the Vallarta Institute of Culture, this showcase will present diverse theatrical productions that reflect the creativity, diversity, and passion of the local artistic community.
From March 20 to 29, 2026, the public can enjoy a variety of performances and activities at several cultural venues throughout the city, including Plataforma 322 (Calle Alondra 103, Col. Los Sauces), Casa de Residencias Artísticas Plataforma 322 (Calle Paseo del Salmón 116, Col. Las Gaviotas), and the Cuale Cultural Center (Isla Río Cuale, Aquiles Serdán 437, Col. Emiliano Zapata).
The MTPV (Puerto Vallarta Theater Festival) aims to promote the development of theater in the region, create spaces for artists and audiences to connect, and strengthen the city's cultural scene. It will be a unique opportunity to discover new theatrical productions, support local talent, and experience theater in an intimate and creative environment.
