The Art VallARTa Center presents a special three-day workshop: Russian Lubok & Mexican Folk Art, taught by renowned Mexican artist Alejandro Barreto.

This workshop offers an introduction to the historical and aesthetic foundations of Russian Lubok printmaking, exploring its connection to Mexican folk art. Participants will learn the proper use of linoleum and its tools, develop their own print, and then add color with watercolor, resulting in a final work with a narrative and folk character.
It is an ideal experience for artists, creatives, and art lovers interested in traditional printmaking techniques and the dialogue between visual cultures.
