Cartography of a Flash is more than an exhibition. It is the culmination of a great painter's desire to explore Mexico. Puerto Vallarta will be the first place of exploration for Masha Lyakhovitskaya, who has worked and lived in several countries. Originally from Lithuania with Russian ancestry, she trained at the Florence Academy of Russian Art in Italy and at the IIIia Repin State Institute of Art, Architecture and Sculpture in St. Petersburg, Russia. She has lived and worked successfully in Russia, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, and most recently, Paraguay. Masha will visit Mexico in September and will begin her paintings in Puerto Vallarta, capturing the essence of our port through her art throughout the month of September. Come and celebrate art!
