Zoe Wood

Guitarist/Singer/Composer Zoe Wood has been one of the Banderas Bay Area’s favorite guitarists/singers for 14 years, performing in places like the Mayan Palace Santuario and Marival Hotels, and collaborating with internationally renowned violinist Diego Mondragon.

She has written and recorded 6 CD’s of original music with former music partner Al Estrada, and is currently working on a new collection of all original instrumentals with Eduardo Leon and Rigoberto Mora. Zoe performs original music, Nuevo Flamenco instrumentals, Jazz and Latin Standards, and Mexican classics with her own special style. She is originally from Montana, and recorded a CD of her own original songs, “Zoe’s Garden”. One of these songs was recently recorded by famed bluesman Charlie Musselwhite. Her influences include Jesse Cook, Ottmar Liebert, Billie Holiday, Pink Martini, Trio Los Panchos, and many more. No cover.

Guitarist and singer Eduardo Leon is one of Vallarta’s busiest and most respected musicians. He is a founding member of the popular local band, Piel Canela, and has accompanied numerous artists in multiple venues in Vallarta over the years. He will accompany Zoe on most Thursdays in the piano bar, along with Danny Renteria on percussion. No cover.
