Cabaret, Piano Bar & Cafe Puerto Vallarta, owned by Tracy Parks, takes its name from the charming and elegant setting along the Rio Cuale that divides old town from centro in beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Incanto welcomes the talented and award-winning Miss Hope Springs, one of London’s most popular cabaret acts this season. Under his pseudonym, Miss Hope Springs, Ty Jeffries sings all live and plays all originally penned material, ranging from pop, to swing and Latin, with hilarious comedy throughout.

Playing the piano and singing her award winning repertoire of uniquely catchy original songs, ex-Vegas nightclub chanteuse Miss Hope Springs brings you her laugh-out-loud-move-you-to-tears one-woman show. Still wearing the sequins she left the Pink Pelican Casino with in 1972, Hope regales with hysterical tales from her ‘Ritz to the pits’ life. You’ll hear her unique blend of finger snapping pop, romantic rumbas and sassy bossa novas, as she takes you on the roller coaster ride ‘from the pits to the Ritz…and back again’. She captivates with tales of her disastrous love life and excruciating career choices and sings songs from her award winning ‘repertoire to be reckoned with…The best songs that Bacharach, Porter and Legrand never wrote’ (Fringe Review Outstanding Show).

Born in New Zealand, but then transplanted to Australia and now the United States with a guitar, suitcase and songs, Jackie Bristow travels light, but packs a heavy punch.
She’s had the honor of being the opening act for many of her musical heroes. In July 2016, Jackie opened for The Steve Miller Band in the US. She also opened for Bonnie Raitt in New Zealand on her 2013 “Slipstream” tour, and opened for internationally-acclaimed guitar legend Tommy Emmanuel. Jackie and Tommy played to sold-out theaters across the U.S.A.

Jackie has been the opening act for many other well-known names over the years: Marc Cohn, John Oates, John Waite, Bettye Lavette, B.J. Thomas, Joe Ely, Marcia Ball, Charlie Robison, Rick Springfield, Bob Schneider, Jimmy Lafave, Euge Groove, Ruthie Foster, Howard Jones, Herbert Gronemeyer, Phoebe Snow, Art Garfunkel, Daniel Lanois, Madeline Peryoux, Jimmy Webb, Paul Williams, and Shawn Mullins, among others.

Jackie’s live performances captivate audiences. One reviewer of her show on the Tommy Emmanuel tour wrote: “Opening for a musical giant like Emmanuel would seem a daunting task, but Bristow was relaxed, as her soulfully-seductive melodies reverberated within the auditorium. Her beautiful voice and earnest songs resonated with the audience, and they applauded her eagerly. Near the end of the show, Bristow joined Emmanuel on stage for an amazing duet that received a standing ovation.”

Jackie’s songs have been used repeatedly in Australian and New Zealand film and television hit shows such as “Go Girls,” “The Secret Life of Us,” “Home and Away,” “Outrageous Fortune,” “Shortland Street,” and “Go Big.” Her original song “This is Australia” won Tourism Australia’s nationwide competition and was featured in its worldwide promotional campaigns for three years. Songs from the “Crazy Love” and “Freedom” albums were programmed into rotation at 7,000 Starbucks locations nationwide in the US.

Jackie has proven to be an artist who shows no signs of stopping. She is now based in Los Angeles, California, but is constantly on tour supporting well-known artists in large concert halls, playing festivals, band shows, listening rooms and enchanting audiences with intimate house concerts.

Outstanding Queen tribute artist Johnny Zatylny will visit Mexico for the first time in early 2018. He performs January 24th at Incanto, in Puerto Vallarta. other performances on January 21st at The Luna Lounge, in Bucerias, January 23rd at La Pina Colada, in Guayabitos and

9:30 pm   24 January   @ Incanto

Brian May, Roger Taylor, John Deacon and Freddie Mercury, formed the phenomenally successful rock band Queen in London, England, in 1970. Although first rate musicians all, most of the attention and excitement centered around Mercury, a talented showman with an amazing vocal range and a flamboyant style. Born Farrokh Bulsara, in Zanzibar, Mercury had moved to England as a youth where he studied art, became interested in rock music and decided to pursue a career as a singer and songwriter. After performing in a series of unsuccessful bands, he struck gold with Queen.

Although their recording career began in 1972, their first international hit was the single “Bohemian Rhapsody”, in 1975. Written by Mercury, it featured a complicated series of chord changes and time signatures reminiscent of Brian Wilson’s work. Its near operatic multi-part harmonies are extraordinary, making the song is as exciting and entertaining today as it was some 40 years ago. Although Freddie Mercury died in 1991, the group’s career continued to flourish. They have sold more than 300 million records and remain popular to this day. The group has been inducted into the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame, Songwriters Hall of Fame and the U.K. Music Hall of Fame.

When Montrealer Johnny Zatylny dons his flashy stage clothing, bounces across a stage and makes love to a microphone, he almost seems like Freddie Mercury re-incarnated. Zatylny’s voice has Freddie Mercury’s almost four-octave range. And his vocal technique exhibits the excellent rhythm, smooth phrasing and stamina the late star was famous for. As a singer and showman, Johnny Zatylny is a hard act to follow!

In way, Dick Clark is responsible for Zatylny’s successful career as one of the world’s foremost Queen tribute artists. It was his knockout performance as Freddie Mercury on Clark’s ”Your Big Break” that gave him his start. As a result, he has been able to make the jump from weekend gigs in Montreal bar bands, to performing with large orchestras in Berlin, Stockholm and throughout Europe, close to 80 times per year, and also front Queen tribute bands “Flash” in North America and “Merqury” in Europe.
