Lido Beach Club

The Lido Club includes menu selections from Southern France, Italy, Greece and Northern Africa with cold items featuring soups, sandwiches, salads, pastas as well as hot items from grilled sausages, fresh fish and kebabs, and many signature desserts including homemade ice creams.

Celebrated restaurateur Michel Pascal Ferrari of the popular eatery Trattoria Michel on Olas Altas runs the Lido Beach Club on Los Muertos beach. Located in the space that previously was known as BITE ME! Beach Club, the Lido Beach Club has been remodeled into a more classic, inviting atmosphere and is open for lunch and beach service. A full European breakfast service is available in high season.

Named after one of the most famous beaches on the Adriatic Sea, just outside of Venice, the Lido Club includes menu selections from Southern France, Italy, Greece and Northern Africa with cold items featuring soups, sandwiches, salads, pastas as well as hot items from grilled sausages, fresh fish and kebabs, and many signature desserts including Michel's homemade ice creams.

The Lido Beach Club, only a few steps from the traditional gay beach, is open and inviting to everybody, from owners at the Blue Seas/Playa del Sol, to all tourists from any hotel. You'll find friendly beach towel service, a diverse menu and beverage options, without the attitude, minimum consumption expectations or chair fees.

mass commitment ceremony of same-sex partners
Vallarta Pride organizers have confirmed a public, mass same-sex marriage ceremony as one of the events during the 3-day LGBT festival scheduled from 24 to 26 May in Puerto Vallarta.

The ceremony will be held at event partner Lido Beach Club on the south boardwalk, or Malecon, on Los Muertos Beach in the Romantic Zone.

The ceremony, a symbolic event, was conceived to promote both LGBT rights and LGBT tourism to the city. While gay marriage is not yet legal in the state of Jalisco, organizers of the event were keen to promote Puerto Vallarta as an ideal LGBT wedding or honeymoon destination.

The event has drawn much interest from the community with over 300 participants registering for the event on the official Facebook page: http://on.fb.me/17Luc5K. The prizes, courtesy of Hotel Casa Cupula, Taste Restaurant and Xocodiva Artisan Chocolates, will be raffled off after the ceremony. The ceremony is offered at no cost to participants.

The beach event will see an expected 20 couples take their vows in front of family and friends before being invited to a complimentary glass of champagne courtesy of Lido Beach Club, while the newly “wed” couples will be given a certificate of commitment courtesy of the Vallarta Pride committee.

To register to marry or for further information on the event visit: http://on.fb.me/10cMy9A.
