One of the biggest equestrian events in Western Mexico will be held for the first time in Puerto Vallarta.

This year's program of activities features an exhibition of more than 1,500 participating horses, the "Alta Escuela Domecq" National Longeing Championship, and the "Copa Pacífico" Interstate Bullfighting Tournament with the participation of 30 cattle ranches from Mexico and the United States. Other activities of interest are the Dancing Horses Championship as the closing event on Sunday, February 12, as well as the live performances of several popular regional Mexican music bands, including the stellar presentation of guest banda singer Francisco "el Gallo" Elizalde on Saturday, February 11. All events and live performances will be held at the Arena Vallarta Rodeo.
