IAMPV

Instituto des Artes Musicales Puerto Vallarta (IAMPV) presents a cello recital/fundraiser performed by Grammy Award winner Donald Moline, with Jean Guy Comeau on piano. Featuring Canciones de Vallarta by John Kreitler, a suite for cello and orchestra that will be given a world premiere at this recital. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres beginning at 6, concert at 7pm. All proceeds will go towards musical education for children in Puerto Vallarta. Donald Moline, a Grammy© award winner, is a cellist who played with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for 39 years. He earned a B.M. degree from Hartt College and a M.M. from Indiana University, where his major teachers were Luigi Silva, Bernard Greenhouse and Janos Starker. Mr. Moline has recorded four solo CD’s, two chamber music CD’s and appears on hundreds of CD recordings with the Chicago Symphony. He has taught at several universities and has performed all over the world.
