Mexico's largest folklore dance festival in Puerto Vallarta!
The Vallarta Azteca International Folk Dance Festival (Festival Vallarta Azteca, FESTVA) features folkloric dance groups from different Mexican states, as well as representatives from Central and South America and Europe, who offer free performances in different venues in Puerto Vallarta, such as Los Arcos del Malecón and Teatro Vallarta. In its seventeenth edition, FESTVA features outstanding companies including the following: Grupo de Danza Tradicional Popular "Bocas Calles" (Costa Rica), Fantasía Folclórica Chilena (Chile), Sredets Dance Ensemble (Bulgaria), among others to be confirmed. The invited dance companies usually perform free of charge in venues in other municipalities of the region and even in other neighboring Mexican states. FESTVA also coincides with Puerto Vallarta's anniversary celebrations during May. Don't miss it!
