The name means "Tile World" and this place really lives up to its name. Mundo de Azulejos is a longstanding Vallarta family business that manufactures there own old style Mexican tiles.

The original Talavera Tile has roots that date back to the 15th Century in Europe being used in various countries where it became extremely popular in Spain. As the Spaniards came to Mexico in the 17th Century, they brought the Talavera Tile craftsmanship with them.
