Since 1996, Mama Dolores' restaurant has been serving up quality home-style American and Mexican food at very affordable prices, to enthusiastic locals and tourists alike, from unpretentious digs at the corner of Olas Altas and Pulpito.
Newly gay owned and operated since April 2004, Mama D's continues the tradition of offering hearty, home-style cooking at great prices, served in a relaxed, friendly, "sit and take a load off" atmosphere.
Whether you want a delicious breakfast before starting your day at the beach, a laid back afternoon on the terrace, with excellent nibblies and the best margaritas in town, or a great dinner served with Mama's special touch, Mama Dolores is the place to be.
In September, Mama will be closed. She's "having some work done" - just a nip and a tuck for now, and a fresh coat of makeup. Mama Dolores will re-open her doors in early October. Sunday night turkey Dinner is still on the menu.
If you get hungry while you're in the Zona Romantica, come and see Mama. She'll let you have dessert even if you don't eat your broccoli.
