Discover hidden staircases that take you through to "Gringo Gulch", the neighbourhood made famous by Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton in the 60's. During the dry months, you'll cool your feet off in the "Rio Cuale" crossing over to the cultural centre located on the city's island. From there you make your way to the last existing, gigantic rubber trees that sit in the middle of the popular artisan flea market. Meet on Fridays at 8am in front of the Guadalupe Church at the main plaza. The tour is approximately 2 hours and cost $25usd. It includes a light fruit snack and great workout. You should bring water, camera, hat, flip flops, suntan lotion, sunglasses, small towel, and pocket money.
