As you make your way up to a stunning, 360 view of Puerto Vallarta; youe guide will point out the various plants and trees that are known for their beauty and medicinal uses. Discover hidden staircases that take you through to "Gringo Gulch", the neighbourhood made famous by Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton in the 60's. During the dry months, you'll cool your feet off in the "Rio Cuale" crossing over to the cultural centre located on the city's island. From there you make your way to the last existing, gigantic rubber trees that sit in the middle of the popular artisan flea market. Lace up your good walking shoes and follow through the "hidden streets" of Puerto Vallarta!
Meet on Fridays at 8am in front of the Guadalupe Church at the main plaza. The tour is approximately 2 hours and cost $25usd. It includes a light fruit snack and great workout. You should bring water, camera, hat, flip flops, suntan lotion, sunglasses, small towel, and pocket money.
Restrictions and requirements: Not suitable for those with heart or respiratory problems.
This tour encompasses a variety of flat ground, hills, and stairs and is designed for those who enjoy walking as exercise. It is recommended that you wear shorts. Crossing the river will depend on river conditions.
