New Gay Business Association in Puerto Vallarta

Although still in an early stage of development, Vallarta has recently formed a gay and gay friendly business association called Ambiente Puerto Vallarta.

Mission Statement

Ambiente Puerto Vallarta's mission is to increase gay and lesbian tourism in Puerto Vallarta by providing joint marketing, promotion, advertising and business education assistance services to Member Gay, Lesbian, and Friendly owned businesses.

Membership is Open to Gay and Gay-friendly Businesses

Join Ambiente Puerto Vallarta and work together with other members or make a financial contribution to help fulfill the mission of the organization. Ambiente Puerto Vallarta will initiate a number of promotional events, international advertising campaigns and other projects and programs that will over time help to increase gay and lesbian tourism to Puerto Vallarta. Support is needed to make those programs happen. We welcome Membership from Individuals or a Personal Membership from tourists or people living in Puerto Vallarta who want to show their support. We also are seeking Benefactors to help support the international advertising campaign and other programs.

Member Programs, Benefits and Services

For Members who have businesses in Puerto Vallarta, the organization has also designed a set of business related services, benefits and programs to help increase the ongoing levels of Member's business success. The list below provides an outline:

• Joint Marketing promotions including distribution of promo items and production of events in addition to cooperative work with the existing Gay Guide and others who produce marketing materials to impact Member businesses.
• Joint Promotional Events for low season and other special occasions
• Monthly Members Luncheon or Breakfast with Speaker on a business topic, networking, rumor control, cross-mentoring and Ambiente Puerto Vallarta business
• Annual Fundraising Dinner with partial Proceeds going to designated charity
• Educational Workshops on specific topics related to doing business in Mexico and Puerto Vallarta
• Consultation, coaching, advising with business experts at discounted fees
• Member to Member discounts for participating members
